Founded in 2022 by Mayank Bindal and Jaydip Mukherjee, Snap-E-Cabs is a ride-hailing platform with the objective of transforming Indian cities by providing 100% electric, sustainable, efficient, affordable and reliable mobility solutions. Launched in August 2022, Snap-E Cabs has since completed 11 million clean kms, 1 million B2C trips & saved over 750+ Tonnes CO2. The company now operates a fleet of 588 EVs (a mix of company owned and leased) and has installed 540 chargers for their operations in and around Kolkata.

Tell us a bit about how founding team knows
each other.
Mayank and Jaydip first met in 2018 at an industry event while working in separate companies. They stayed in touch and met again in 2019, where Jaydip proposed a project in the medical field. They began working together in December 2019, eventually establishing a company that generated close to 50 crore in revenue over four years, from 2020 to 2023. In 2022, they decided to venture into the Snap-E Cabs industry, leveraging their successful collaboration.

company?
We ventured into EV mobility for: 1. Tech-driven revenue. 2. Vertical integration across EV ecosystem. 3. Anticipated surge in EV demand, especially in cab aggregation.
