Product Description

Liftor is a smart, fast and reliable one-app platform for local logistics, purpose-built for India's SMEs. Through a single interface, customers can book 2-Wheelers, 3-Wheelers and Trucks for intra-city deliveries, hire vehicles on Hourly Rentals, or request our Instant Mover service (vehicle + 2 helpers) for shifting needs — all with live tracking and transparent pricing. What makes Liftor truly different is its WhatsApp-first booking: SMEs simply send pickup, drop and vehicle type on WhatsApp, and Liftor handles the rest — zero app friction, perfect for non-tech-savvy local businesses. Two high-impact verticals are currently in active R&D and pilot stage: On-Demand Towing for 2W, cars, vans and trucks with live tracking and upfront pricing — addressing a fragmented, unorganized market. Enterprise API & Dashboard integrations allowing SMEs, D2C brands and restaurants to plug Liftor directly into their websites, ERPs and order systems. Headquartered in Surat, DPIIT-recognized and bootstrapped, Liftor is solving the reliability and accessibility gaps that national apps like Porter leave wide open — with a roadmap of 4 revenue lines per customer once towing and API go live.

Startup Description

Liftor is a Surat-based, DPIIT-recognized, bootstrapped logistics-tech startup transforming how local SMEs move goods. We are building India's unified intra-city logistics platform — combining 2W, 3W and trucks under one app, powered by WhatsApp-first booking for non-tech-savvy businesses. Founded by Harsh Patel (CEO), Romil Parmar (CMO) and Divyesh Patel (COO), mentored by Kamal Bhatter (CFO), the team blends operations, marketing and finance expertise to crack India's fragmented ₹60,000+ Cr intra-city logistics market. In just 6 months of live execution, Liftor has onboarded 6,000+ customers, 2,100+ drivers — all organically in Surat. Two additional high-margin verticals — On-Demand Towing and Enterprise API integration — are currently under active R&D and production development, set to unlock 4 revenue streams per customer at launch. Our roadmap targets Ahmedabad expansion in 2026, ₹100 Cr revenue with 10,000+ daily rides by 2027, and pan-Gujarat dominance (Vadodara, Rajkot) by 2030. Sustainability is core to our DNA — we plant 1 tree per 100 rides and incentivize EV drivers, building green logistics for Bharat's tier-2 economy.

Business Model

Liftor runs a multi-stream, asset-light revenue model built around recurring SME demand: 1. Commission Per Trip — LIVE (≈85% of revenue): We earn an 8–13% take rate on every delivery (avg. ₹25 per trip) across 2W, 3W and trucks. This is our current volume engine, generating real revenue today. 2. Driver Registration — LIVE (≈2%): A one-time onboarding fee that strengthens supply-side commitment and filters serious drivers. 3. Enterprise Subscriptions + API — IN R&D / PRODUCTION: Businesses, restaurants and D2C brands will pay ₹5,000–₹25,000/month for API integration, dashboards and WhatsApp-based dispatch — designed to generate predictable ARR, unlike Porter's purely transactional model. Launch planned post-development. 4. On-Demand Towing — IN R&D / PRODUCTION: Targeting ₹300–₹1,500 per tow across 2W, cars and trucks — tapping a fragmented ₹5,000+ Cr towing market with no organized national player. A high-margin vertical that will be a key growth lever. 5. Future Streams: Branded sticker/ad placements on our active fleet — a near-zero-cost media asset. The model is capital-efficient and aggregator-style, with strong unit economics driven by repeat SME usage. Once towing and API go live, LTV per customer will multiply significantly, while subscriptions add stickiness and predictable cash flow — a structural moat over single-service competitors.

Harsh Patel and Divyesh Patel previously worked on a construction vehicle rental startup, gaining valuable operational experience. While building Liftor, they brought in their friend Romil Parmar to lead marketing. Kamal Bhatter later joined to strengthen finance and fundraising strategy.
