Startup Description
* Founded in 2013, Kruti Coffee began as a non-profit entity to support Kindiriguda tribal coffee farmers.
* 2013-17: Pure non-profit focus to revive the adopted dead plantation.
* 2018: Incorporated a dedicated commercial enterprise for the coffee business called KRV and set up the first Café in Bhubaneswar.
* Speed bump due to COVID during 2020-21.
* 2022-23: Started café expansion with franchise model and prioritised product development, and moved roasting in-house.
* 2023: Kruti Coffee’s Kindiriguda Naturals was awarded India’s No. 1 Arabica Naturals at the 5th World Coffee Conference.
* 2024-25: Embarked on a journey towards quantum leap and sustainability: (Total number of cafes tripled, revenue doubled, loss ratio from 50% to profitability).
