It is a patented technology in waterless solar panels self cleaning system that increases power generation anywhere from 30% to 100%. It is completely automatic, programmable, waterless, brushless and does not have any moving parts on solar panels.
We first make the solar panels slippery by special coatings and then blow them clean using compressed air multiple times a day. Such that it increases the power generation of solar panels anywhere from 30% to 100% and reduces the payback period of entire Solar plant by upto 40%. That too without adding additional roof top space or land area.
Startup Description
iPanelKean is the result of an innovative process and is an IIT-IIM alumni venture. I have provided consulting and market research study of a 2GW solar park to a large client, developed India’s first solar-charged E-boat launched by our honorable prime minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, and set up state-of-the-art hybrid solar plants that today produce the highest power per kW on an annual average basis.
In the process, I realised that a lot of revenue is being lost due to dust deposition and then I began my journey to solve this unsolved problem with the most ideal solution through an innovative approach and soon I had a solution that would work and not only provide large savings, extra generation, increase longevity of solar plants but also create large impact through saving of scare resource water, carbon emissions and human lives of cleaning workers.
Today, iPanelKlean has disrupted the Solar Cleantech space with its patented innovative solution and is operating through multiple stakeholders in the B2B, B2C, and B2G space, and has in-house manufacturing of key components, design, and system integration capabilities.
The startup is supported by many industry partners, including further support of Nexus (a US govt incubator), registration as an Indian govt startup, and has support of MEITY, registration at NSIC, MSME, CII, ISO 9001:2015, and MNRE.
