Tell us a bit about how founding team knows
each other.
I met subhrangshu about 4 years back, introduced by a friend. He signed up as an investor then (under his wife’s name). He was the group CMO for Religare then. Post he moving on from Religare and post his quitting Laureate (a French education conglomerate) as COO, I convinced him to join full time at Escrowpay. We are working together for last 3 years approx now.
Why did you decide to start this
company?
Few years back I was fortunate to be part of PM Modi’s trade delegation to Germany where I interacted with very senior bankers and government officials and they all talked about trust and transparency in transactions.
