Maidaan is a reward-based gaming platform that hosts LIVE, bite-sized Olympiads & Tournaments for school children. We're enabling parents of a 100M+ give their children exposure to competition beyond school from an early age, by simulating real world competition in a fun, gaming environment.

Real money gaming model inspired by the likes of MPL. Parents pay to enter their children in tournaments & part of the pot goes back as rewards, the rest being our Gross Margin. Due to TG being school children, payout is reward based and not money based. Over time we want to move to digital rewards, tie up with brands as reward sponsors to push GM even higher & open the platform for Offline players to bring their competitions online against a hosting fee.

Tell us a bit about how founding team knows
each other.
We’re batch-mates from undergrad, have known each other for over 14 years and very close friends. We met through the college co-curricular circuit and were regular partners at multiple university level competitions like debate, quizzing, theatre and over the years have done multiple side-projects together.
