Startup Description
Most of the industries are moving towards Asset light business models adopting equipment-as-a-service (EAAS). EaaS business model brings multiple stake holders in any transaction primarily asset owner, financer, consumer, and the manufacturer. It also segregates the responsibility and interests of various stake holders across the machine life cycle w.r.t different functional aspects such as financing, service, utilisation. This model is picking up in the distributed asset industries where owning, managing, and transporting assets is cumbersome and expensive.
Though the model is great but poise a significant challenge in terms of transparency in sharing relevant data with multiple stakeholders. This has been the key challenge in the EaaS adoption journey in the last few decades. Internet Penetration, lower cost of sensorization and cheap data rates have given birth to the future of connected machines. This development in technology stack, offers a unique opportunity to create something like Facebook for machines where the data generated from the machines can be shared with respective stake holders (OEM, Enterprise, Asset Owner, Service Provider, Insurer, financier) to consume for their purpose of use. We believe in the rise of EaaS as a primary way for many Enterprises to consume assets in the coming decade.
Our idea is to accelerate this adoption of EaaS with the use of connected machine tech (IoT & AI) and provide significant value to all stake holders.
