We use Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) to grow chemical free produce and then distribute via cloud kitchens by making fresh, healthy & delicious meals from the harvest. CEA allows us to optimise the crops growth, get 2-3x yields compared to land farming, avoid use of pesticides and also removes our dependency on outside climate. Customers buy weekly/monthly subscriptions wherein we customise their meal according to their requirement (Protein, fibre, carbs, vitamins, calories). We are also available on zomato/swiggy. The fresh produce which is not used in our kitchen is sold to our B2B customers (HoReCa, online/offline groceries and wholesalers).

Years of over fertilisation and pesticide use has degraded our soil, the available produce has lower nutritional content than ever before and our diets are based on availability rather than necessity. Bigly grows residue free produce and uses it to prepare customised weekly/monthly meal plans. Customers can trace their food from seed to their plates and be rest assured about what they are putting in their bodies.

Why did you decide to start this
company?
My interest in food supply chain started in 2019 when I got to travel to more than 400 villages across Gujarat. There I experienced our dependency on climate and unsustainable farm practices which puts a big question on the food security in India.
