Established in India in 2020 by IIT kharagpur graduates, Bidaal developed the most innovative niche AI-IoT products for increasing the safety and productivity of industrial operations. Bidaal aims to bring AIoT Surveillance solutions to industrial companies, specifically focusing on managing safety standard compliance and enhancing productivity. Tell us a bit about how founding team knows
each other.
Founding being an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur during our college years, we developed a keen interest in technology and began exploring its potential for creating an impact. We had the privilege of working on projects with our professors and collaborating with industrial companies. This experience provided us with valuable insights into their requirements and challenges. That is how our common passion brought us together. Rishi and Nitish are batchmates and Kalash is 1 year junior.
Why did you decide to start this
company?
During our college time, we got the opportunity to visit industrial companies and there we got the first glance of the problems and challenges existing. The consequences of inconsistent safety standards are significant, resulting in substantial losses in terms of time, expenses, and, most importantly, safety. Even a single fatality can cost millions of dollars due to production halts, labor strikes, and compensation. Furthermore, it can cause severe reputational damage on an organization.
